Susan Goins was launching Better at Home, a dementia care consulting and concierge business in Metro Atlanta, but had no website, local visibility, or marketing materials to support the launch on a limited budget.

A streamlined one-page WordPress site with anchored navigation and strategic messaging that clearly distinguishes Better at Home’s consulting model from a home care agency, paired with local search setup and a suite of branded print materials.

About The Project

Better at Home supports families across Metro Atlanta who are navigating the challenges of caring for a loved one with dementia. Susan offers consulting, planning, and concierge support to help families find clarity and a path forward. The goal of this project was to give Susan a professional online presence and local visibility from day one, while keeping the build efficient and budget-conscious for a newly launched business.

  • One-Page Website with Anchored Navigation: A single, well-organized homepage was built in WordPress with anchored navigation, allowing visitors to move smoothly between sections without leaving the page. The site includes:

    • Services
    • How It Works

    • Schedule a Free Consult form
    This structure keeps the experience simple for visitors while giving Susan a complete, professional presence without the overhead of a multi-page build.

  • Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Messaging throughout the site was crafted to clearly distinguish Better at Home’s consulting and concierge model from a home care agency. This positioning helps families immediately understand what kind of support they’re getting, building trust from the first interaction.

  • Low-Friction Consultation Scheduling: A simple “Schedule a Free Consult” form was built directly into the site, removing friction for families ready to take the next step and creating a clear path from visitor to lead.

  • Local SEO Setup: To help Better at Home get found by families searching locally, a full local SEO foundation was put in place, including:
    • Google Business Profile
    • Bing Places
    • Apple Maps
    • Citation directory listings

  • Print Materials for Community Outreach: A set of branded print materials was designed to support Susan’s local outreach efforts, including:
    • Business cards
    • A rack card
    • A direct mail postcard targeting 55+ communities across Metro Atlanta
    All materials were delivered as print-ready files, with Anna handling design and Susan managing printing and distribution.
